i agree w/ op that in principle it would be a better game if you had to "earn" all advancement but methods around that have existed for some time maybe these new options will be less psychologically appealing but not much will really change it ...

it seems strange to me that so many people apparently dont realize that you can (and many already do) buy "progression" or an ingame advantage with $$ through the sale of gtc for isk and through the character exchange system
